Frequently Asked Questions

What level of privacy do you provide?

I strive to build a discreet and professional experience for my readers. Purchases show up on your statements simply as ROSE NICHOLS. You do not need an account to purchase anything, and I will never send you an email unless you explicity sign up for my mailing list or email me first.

Why offer ebooks instead of an online platform?

Ebooks offer advantages that benefit readers much more than buying access to a Patreon or a similar platform. Because ebooks are simply a file, you don't need an internet connection to read them, you are able to keep them even if I go out of business, and you can copy them to read on other devices.

What happens when I purchase an ebook?

You'll be redirected to a Thank You page which will automatically download the purchased .epub or .zip file. For the sake of privacy, no purchase confirmation email will be sent to you, and you will not be added to any email lists.

Can I read your books if I don't have a kindle?

Absolutely. Ebooks are just a file, but they need to be opened in an application that can read the file. These are called ebook readers, and there are many free options available. iPhones come with the Apple Books app pre-installed, but if you have an Android, you'll need to install an ebook reader from the app store. For Windows, Mac, or Linux, you can find some great options with a quick google search.

How do I add an ebook to my kindle?

You can use the Send to Kindle tool that Amazon provides for this purpose.

Do you accept PayPal?

Not at this time. I currently use Stripe, a third-party payment processor that handles all payments for me. During checkout, your sensitive payment information is sent directly to Stripe, and I never see it. If you prefer a different vendor, many of my books are also available through alternative platforms such as Smashwords and ZBookStore.

What if I lose or delete an ebook file?

Not to worry. Just let me know through my contact page and I'll send you another copy.

Why aren't you responding to my emails?

I usually respond to emails within the hour. Please check your spam folder, as some email providers don't like my domain name.

What do the story tags mean?

You can check out the tags page to see a list of tag definitions.

How do I get a review posted on your website?

Visit my contact page and send me a review!

Do you take commissions?

No, but I always appreciate story ideas, suggestions, and feedback!

When is your next story coming out?

I try to publish something every month or so, but it's not a strict schedule. Sign up for my newsletter to get notified when my next book comes out!
